To Whom It May Concern,
We at Visy Industries, have recently completed a new Visy Board Plant at Stapylton, covering over 23,000m2 of factory under roof on a site 67,000m2 in total. Bess Concrete was contracted after an exhaustive tender process against some of the biggest names in concrete in south east Queensland. From our first meetings we found Bess Management to be very professional and thorough in all aspects of tendering and planning, this combined with a competitive price made them the easy choice for the project ahead.
Our project had an extremely fast track time line, which Bess Concrete more then accommodated for by having multiple teams onsite at any one time, tackling everything from concrete hardstand for site parking to hold down bolts and also our machine bases.
The machine bases and foundations are a little complicated and extremely crucial elements of our projects. Bess completed these on or ahead of schedule and to a high standard every time, allowing our installers every possibility of making start up dates of which we never missed a single one.
Our project didn't start until Mid-August and by November 20th our factory was in production with all machinery installed by December 4th. Bess's commitment to the project right to the end was, without a doubt, instrumental to our projects over all success.
From management to the men on the shovels, I found them very easy to work with, they were organised and professional but still flexible and always worked with Visy and other trades on site to achieve our needs.
In conclusion, I would have no hesitations in recommending Bess Concrete for any concrete project and look forward to working with them again on future projects.
Regards,
Brett Johnstone
